The Ann Arbor Civic Band, founded in 1935 as an extension of the University of Michigan's School of Music, is in its 77th year of providing residents of Ann Arbor with a wonderful musical experience over the summer.
All performances are held at the West Park Band Shell in West Park, on 7th Street in Ann Arbor, beginning at 8:00PM.
Admission is free, and the park is big - bring a friend or two!
Shuttle Service to the Concert
West Park will provide a golf cart to help shuttle concert goers with mobility needs to the band shell. If you are someone who needs assistance getting to the band shell from the street, you may be dropped off at the park entrance and driven to the band shell.
The staff at West Park requests that those needing assistance park on Seventh St. (between Huron St and Miller Ave), the cart will ferry you from the park entrance to the band shell. Park staff will be handling this throughout the concert as well as after the concert to help all of our wonderful patrons back to Seventh Street..
